AOC Bordeaux Supérieur Red
A charming deep red colour. The fruity nose reveals surprising spicy and roasted aromas. This wine is elegant and strong with a velvety substance. The tannins are perfectly melted, but will evolve over the years.
Serve with roasted red meats and games with sauce. Excellent with cheese.
Appellation: AOC BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR RED.
Soil: graves, clay and chalky. Yield: 40 hL/ha
Average age of vines: 30 – 40 years old. Production: 18,000 bottles.
Blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Mechanical grape harvest, selected at the right maturity.
Vinification: 24 or 30 days of maceration, alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank.
Ageing: can be drunk right now but will evolve favourably for 5 years.
