TASTING

Nose full of ripe red fruits, with notes of black cherries and vanilla woody notes ; tender, round, fat on the palate. Nice background.

With tannins that are still young, which enhances volume. The finish is warm, structured, quite long & roasted.

FOOD PAIRING

With a roast beef, or a chicken with morels.

PRODUCTION

Appellation area : A.O.C BORDEAUX SUPÉRIEUR RED.

Soil : Strong and gravelly soil, on a clayey-siliceous subsoil.

Yield : 40 Hl/ha. Age of the vines: 30 – 40 years.

Production : 46 000 Bottles. Surface area: 6.95 hectares.

Planting density : 5 000 vines per hectare.

Available : 12 000 bottles.

VITICULTURE AND VINIFICATION

Blend  80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Mechanical grape harvest, selected at the right maturity.

Vinification : 24 or 30 days of maceration, alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank.

Ageing : can be drunk right now but will evolve favourably for 5 years.
