TASTING

This classic blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Franc is sparingly revealed on the first nose, then the aeration releases the ripe fruit on an elegant woody background.

The palate remains on these tones and offers a lot of substance, fat and a beautiful solidity around tannins with a fine and silky grain.

FOOD PAIRING

Serve with red and white meats, and types of game.

Excellent with all types of cheeses.

Appellation : A.O.C BORDEAUX RED.

Soil : clay and chalky.

Yield : 50hl / ha.

Average age of vines : 20 years old.

Production : 60 000 bottles.

VITICULTURE AND VINIFICATION

Blend : 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Mechanical harvesting.

Ageing : can be drunk immediately but will develop well for 3 to 5 years.

Bottling : bottles stored horizontally in cages at the property for 12 months.

Degree : 14% vol.
